It’s also very important to properly have your ducts cleaned after construction. Failing to do so can leave allergens like drywall dust, plastic coverings, screws, plaster, nails and sawdust behind. Duct cleaning will remove all of those potential allergens before you move in, so you’re breathing clean in your brand-new space.
We recommend that you make sure duct cleaning is included in the contract with your builder. If not, try to negotiate it in, saving you the cost of ductwork cleaning after the project is complete.
